MY Serenity Garden

Before the high winds blow all the flowers off my pear trees, I had to share this picture (picture taken in early morning light--sorry). My garden is still asleep from winter, but the trees are in full bloom. I have the pear trees lining my garden, my back yard and up the side. Lots of pear trees!!! I planted ever one of them. I think at last count there were over 30 or more. Every tree was carried home in the back of my Honda Pilot!!!! Can not believe how they have grown from the tiny "twigs" they were.... Can not wait to plant more flowers--as if I don't have enough--- and for my azaleas to bloom... And for all the bulbs and other flowers to wake up.....Come on flowers!!!

HAVE a wonderful Spring day, where ever you are!!!

Finally, the picture of my bakery tarts came up!

Just listed 4 different scents on my etsy. I will be adding an orange clove scent that I am going to pour into an antique mold this week. I will post a picture when I am done.
Have a wonderful day.

What I did this weekend!

I was busy making some "cookie tarts" this weekend. I will have them on ETSY soon. I just wanted to share a picture. My house sure was smelling good!! I did bakery scents and my family was disappointed that I was making cookies they could not eat!! I did four different kinds, this is the German Chocolate Chip Cookie!!

THANK YOU

I just want to say thank you to all the gals who have helped me in setting my blog up...because I have made some major blunders.... and I am still a work in progress!

We tend to hear the "bad" on the TV and in the Newspaper. If we could just remember that one hand reaching out to help another can send such a powerful message. So today, reach out your hand and do something kind for someone. Even if it is just a hug or a smile...You never know what a kind gesture can do to turn a bad day into a good day...Thanks.

Go to my favorite blogs and see the beautiful work these ladies have to offer.

Tonight is my first post and an introduction of myself. Starting this blog has been a wonderful, learning experience. I hope I have something of interest or fun for you to read.
Tonight I will just add a few pictures of what I have recently finished. In the future I plan to have pictures of what I am doing and sharing any tips I can. I consider myself a fiber artist, with a side love of anything scented---candlemaking, sprays and throw in some primitive soap making just for fun. Thanks for checking in on my blog....

It is never too late to finish what you start!!!

I started this cross stitch pattern at least 15 years ago. Got packed and repacked in our many moves and I recently "refound" it. Now complete and framed......
