home of wool treasures and primitive goods

Thought of a tip to share with you all.  You probably already know, but a reminder. Put a clean tennis ball in the dryer with your clothes.  Cheaper than the dryer balls you buy and works wonderful.
I wash a lot of wool and dye wool.  I always add a clean tennis ball as the wool is drying--along with an old  towel. Really fluffs up the wool and keeps it so nice.   Try it!!!

Have a wonderful Easter weekend.  Blessings to all.

Can not believe it has been so long since I have posted.  I intend to "start over" and do a better job...I have really gotten into wood working and went back to working with wool-- penny rugs and rug hooking--those 2 do go together--right???

I built a "bucket bench" --since it is more like a cabinet without doors, not sure how it got that name, about a year ago.  I have never been happy with the final paint finish.  So I will be redoing the whole thing.   I will post pictures of the progress.  My garage is full of old wood pieces I have picked up at shops and here and there...and I need to refinish and rework them...my work for the summer is waiting for me!!  So many projects--so little time.   And of course my love of doll making is always driving me in that direction.
If my camera is back to working properly, I will post pictures of things I have just finished and any little hints/tips I figured out along the way.

Having said all this, I will be on vacation in Florida for about 10 days, but after that I will try to keep on the ball....
Thank you my primitive sisters if you have found me again.  My ETSY site will be up in a few weeks --after vacation.
